Roll back to the evening of December 31st, 2022, when a tale began to unfold. At a time when many were preparing to head out to celebrate the New Year, and service providers everywhere had laid down their tools to join in the festivities, we received a frantic call from a client whose electric gates had frozen. (Not the ice-related kind of freezing but the malfunctioning kind of freezing.)
As such the residents were held captive in their property, actively preventing them from venturing out to their parties and gatherings. With other modes of transport in short supply the residents were positively stuck.
Available at short notice and out of hours, our team responded by first attempting to instruct the client how to reset the gate remotely. When this proved unsuccessful, we were able to call upon one or our trusted electrical partners who quickly came to the rescue, freeing the caged residents, much to their relief!
