As 2021 draws to a close, we inevitably pause to look back over the year to see how we’ve fared and how the market has reacted and responded to the impact of the last 2 years.
It is important to take time for self-reflection whether as an individual or as a business. Pausing to take stock from time to time ensures that we don’t get lost in the minutiae or bound up in an endless succession of daily tasks that detract from making the bigger decisions. Standing back and looking at the bigger picture is vital, and that awareness is what keeps MIH on its toes and makes sure that we stay focused and on track.
Like most business sectors, there are aspects at the core of the business that remain the same year in, year out, and aspects that change rapidly or are continually evolving.
To keep squarely abreast of the marketplace, we look to adjudicators and governing bodies such as RICS and ARMA to keep up to speed with the detail, the legalities, and policies. What we know, we can usefully pass on. Our experience and knowledge is what gives us the edge. We’re proactive in all that we do and this is an example of just that behaviour.
We want to be the best at what we do, so we look for input, feedback and for better ways to do things. Our ears are open and we are receptive to comments and suggestions. Since their appointment we have found that they are responsive, efficient, professional and always try and assist in problem resolving. Clearly they have been handed a tough task after a string of useless agents whose service was neglectful to say the least. It is a massive difference compared to old agents who have never shown the level of care and interest shown by MIH.
