MIH Property Management oversees the day-to-day management and upkeep of a great variety of properties across London. Our current inventory includes individual residences and small landlord portfolios, commercial properties and large residential blocks, old and new.
We are deeply invested in block management, supporting a myriad of residential apartment buildings and their shared spaces and surrounding environs. We take charge of financial management, aiming to budget and allocate funds effectively and appropriately. We look to address what work needs to be done now, and what will require attention in the future. Residents hard-earned service fees are carefully distributed to ensure the best possible living quality for all.
Our remit includes not only fund management, but legal compliance such as Fire & Safety, and meeting the Decent Homes Standard, as well as cleaning, lighting, repairs and general upkeep. Each block has its own nuances. It may be an older property, e.g. Victorian or Edwardian, with heritage traits and more extensive maintenance demands. Or it may be a brand-new state-of-the-art complex with all the bells and whistles – and complexities. We are equipped to manage the specific requirements of each building, the needs of which are established and documented at the outset of our appointment.
A very important aspect of a block residence is the grounds and gardens. No matter the size, these areas of green and paving, trees and planting, are a key part of the building’s overall ambience. We know that these spaces are valuable to residents, their sense of wellbeing and how they perceive their homes.

Queens Park Place in South Kilburn was completed in 2016 as part of a regeneration project featuring modern apartments, commercial spaces, and both private and affordable homes. The block has purpose-built, block paved walkways lined with planters and foliage. At the centre is an area of grass forming the hub of a spacious courtyard – an area where residents can sit and appreciate the south-facing aspect, year-round.
However, the irrigation system that served the planters and maintained the colourful, rich foliage and lawns, had ceased to function properly. As a result the plants were dying back and the gardens losing their lustre. MIH organised the repair and replacement of the faulty parts of the irrigation system to ensure that the automated watering equipment was back to full operation. The mechanism is governed by a timer system that changes with the seasons to vary the frequency of watering as the weather requires, to keep the Quens Park Place landscaping verdant and welcoming.
The successful outcome elicited a positive response from one of the residents involved in the process:
We, in turn, were very pleased to have restored the water supply and happy to see the plants returning to good health.

At MIH we understand and appreciate the need for the cohesive maintenance of block properties. Often these buildings can include 100+ residences and each one of those is a home, shelter and safe space for its owner or tenant. It is our role to act as the coordinator of the many voices and the building’s needs to safeguard the value and integrity of homes – and by association lives.
