What a year it has been! 2023 brought about significant shifts in the property rental market, reshaping the landscape for both landlords and tenants alike. As we move into 2024 there are some reasons to be cheerful.
Rental growth has now peaked and we expect a slowdown in 2024 which is good news for renters. Buy-to-let landlords will likely still see their yields increase over 2024 especially once the Bank of England brings interest rates down as expected, once inflation is under control. It is a good time to invest in Buy-to-let property in London as prices are projected to stay low for a little while before rebounding by 2025.
So as 2023 comes to a close, we’d like to firstly thank all of our clients for their on-going business, our partners for their vital contribution and support, and of course our team who work so diligently to keep MIH delivering the service we’re known for.
